Episode 132: Addressing Ancestral Trauma and Fear With Hiba

In this world, we don’t operate as separate individuals. Some of us come from a long lineage of ancestral suffering, and that trauma is passed down to us and embeds itself in our cells, even if we ourselves are not living the same suffering. We might find ourselves experiencing these wounds, and it can bring up feelings of depression, unworthiness, and shame. This is a complex process, and beginning to unravel these ancestral narratives is important in achieving peace within ourselves and for humanity overall.

 

Hiba is here looking for guidance. She is a Palestinian woman living in the US, and yet she is still bumping up against some ancestral and religious wounding from her heritage. She’s here with a big voice to share, and stories to help the world.
