Episode 143: Healing Familial Trauma in Parenting With Chandni

The trauma experienced by our ancestors has a way of making its way down to us and in order to change, we need to pay attention to how it is playing out in our lives. These patterns can be especially harmful in the context of parenting, where we can unknowingly continue the harm done in our familial line onto our children. The good news is that with some courage and examination of ourselves, we all have agency to stop this pattern in its tracks. The power of decision is within you, you just have to choose to act on it. 

 

Chandni is here with a desire to heal her relationship with her 9-year-old son. She is concerned that she gets very dysregulated in her parenting, really feeling the ancestral wounding that she carries around, yet we also see the deep wisdom she holds within that becomes apparent as we talk.
