Episode 146: Reclaiming Your Future After Abuse With Nancy

In this life, some of us are forced to endure very hard things. These things can have lasting effects on the body and the nervous system, which often enters a state of survival mode in order to keep us safe. Even long after the danger is gone, there are ways in which the body holds onto that state of survival, and this can hinder our ability to enjoy our lives if we don’t make a decision to address that trauma. I want to stress to you, loves, that taking care of our spiritual selves means taking care of our physical bodies, and our relationship to our bodies holds the key to reconnecting with our souls.

 

Nancy is here wanting to know what is ahead for her in her future. She had a very physically abusive upbringing. She was beaten badly by her mother.
