So many of us on our journey are wondering what we’re doing, feeling lost, and not knowing how to deal with change. As intuitives and healers, it can be very easy to take on the states of those we work with, out of a desire to show up for our clients, our friends, and our family members. There is a lot of hard work and “hustle” culture in our world as well, and all of this creates a situation in which we can easily become burned out. It’s actually in the best interest of those we are serving for us to work on ourselves and pour into our own cup first. Though doing this we can show up more intentionally as healers and provide our clients with a depth of emotional attention that mirrors what we’ve already experienced within ourselves.

We are more connected than we think. Connected to ourselves, the people around us, to the energy of the universe, and to the wisdom that past souls have to offer us. There’s a synergy present and available because of this connectedness, as if just by being together, something powerful is being accomplished. Although our physical plane and all the ways we are societally programmed make experiencing this greater sense of connection difficult, we always have the power to tap into it and receive the answers that we’re looking for.

Those of us who are intuitive and operate businesses, whether spiritual or not, may encounter some dissonance when it comes to putting a sticker price on our service of others. We may not realize that sometimes the energy we bring into a situation in which we’re interacting with potential clients creates a sense of objectification, and viewing our human connections as a game of numbers. Many of us go through terribly hard things in life, and are forced to endure traumas of all kinds. It is very natural for the body to hold onto this pain, even after years or even decades afterwards. While we may have been made victims at some point in our lives, it doesn’t mean that we are victims forever. There is always hope in moving forward, in feeling joy and feeling safe again, despite the risks that we take in letting that part of ourselves go.

Sometimes, the endless possibilities that can come from a decision we have to make can leave us feeling confused, or even trapped. Periods of change, while inevitable, can be quite confusing, especially for those of us who are naturally intuitive. We often find it challenging to stay present through these chapters of life, naturally wanting to feel in control of the things that happen to us.
