When we’re faced with some kind of uncertainty in life, especially when we can see a clear vision of what we want out of life, it can be easy to wonder whether the decisions we’re making are the ones that are going to eventually lead us to where we want to be. This can be a nerve-wracking experience, and it’s natural to want a clear sign to continue to do what we’re doing, or to change direction in the hopes that it will mean more certainty in our life decisions. In this world, we don’t operate as separate individuals. Some of us come from a long lineage of ancestral suffering, and that trauma is passed down to us and embeds itself in our cells, even if we ourselves are not living the same suffering. We might find ourselves experiencing these wounds, and it can bring up feelings of depression, unworthiness, and shame. This is a complex process, and beginning to unravel these ancestral narratives is important in achieving peace within ourselves and for humanity overall.
Hiba is here looking for guidance. She is a Palestinian woman living in the US, and yet she is still bumping up against some ancestral and religious wounding from her heritage. There is so much richness to find in paying a visit to the tenderest parts of our childhood. I believe that accessing those moments of pain, hurt, and loneliness are the keys to bring forth meaningful lessons into our present reality as adults. It can be incredibly healing to spend some intentional time with the inner child in all of us, to sit with the child who feels scared, alone, and is craving our love. That is such a powerful thing.
Crystal is here today looking to connect with and heal her inner child. She’s been on a healing journey for a long time but is wondering now if there are blockages that might stem from her childhood. Today, Crystal and I have an enlightening conversation that draws the parallels between the loneliness Crystal felt in childhood to the ways that she deals with the feeling of aloneness now in adulthood, and the connection between those coping mechanisms to the present day.

I believe strongly that everything we need to guide ourselves through the ups and downs of life, the hard decisions, all the pain and happiness, everything, can be found within us. You are so much more powerful than you think, my love, but it is all too easy to fall into a trap of overcomplicating things. We all do it. Every time we are meant to level up in our lives or pursue something that feels big to us, it’s very common for fears and blocks to arise within us. In a world where money ensures, in some ways, our survival, it is not surprising that many of us have grown with a sense of scarcity around money, or have been raised with certain beliefs about our own value in relation to money. Many of these beliefs can even be stored in our bodies, and it’s our bodies that reach out to us with the wisdom that tells us what we’re going through is not right. It’s actually a gift, that we can tune into ourselves in this way, and from this we can learn the ways to properly nurture ourselves so that we can continue nurturing others.
Alessandra is here looking for purpose. She’s been pursuing several new projects, and is wondering what possible financial blocks might be getting in the way of her being able to bring these projects into the world. Those of us who have devoted endless time, energy, and faithfulness to developing our intuition, to our communication with Spirit Guides and the worlds beyond our physical one, understand the depth of this universe. It takes a lot of patience and self-awareness, and we know from our very beings that our gifts can do so much good in the world. Here in the west, we are all bombarded with messages that in order to succeed, in order to get what we want out of life, we have to fill our days with tasks and continuously DO in order to reap the rewards we deserve. Unfortunately, the cost of this way of living sacrifices our state of our being, and is at the expense of any fun or pleasure.
Maureen is here, like so many of us, wondering if she is on the right path. She’s considering whether the things she’s putting her energy and heart towards are in fact the things that she loves. When we’re faced with transitions and big changes, we may feel confused as to why certain hurts from earlier in life start to arise. Our uncertainty about the future is most times driven by unhealed wounds, and things we have hidden away. As we move towards new horizons, these wounds will surface for us to examine and integrate. Often our go to copying mechanism is to ignore their uprising and plunge more into doing as a way to avoid what is happening. When you learn to turn towards what is seeking your attention and focus on how you are being, it is easier to hear the whispers of your heart and discern your path forward.
Dauna is here looking for wisdom as she approaches some big changes in her life, including a move. She’s feeling stuck and afraid, and doesn’t understand why she is feeling this way. In the last decade or so, we’ve seen a rise of spiritual awakening that has led many people to open their eyes to their gifts as an empath. This is certainly a weighty realization, and if we are not careful, we can easily be pulled into the energetic process of others in a way that consumes and overwhelms us. Yet, I don’t believe we have to simply “put up with” this gift of ours; there are ways that we can refine this skill so that we can be a vessel for others and make a difference in people’s lives.
